Tasting notes : The wine is ruby ​​red tending to garnet, typical of the Sangiovese vine. Its intense bouquet is characterized by complex notes of flowers and red fruits. Storage in wooden barrels gives the wine spicy notes that integrate well into the overall aroma. In the mouth it is intense at the beginning , round on the palate and with silky tannins, the finish is long-lasting.

Maturation : After the malolactic secondary fermentation has been completed, the wine is matured in barriques and small oak barrels for 24 months. The wine is kept in the barrel for at least another 6 months to refine.

Process : The Riserva red wine is obtained from purely organic Sangiovese grapes and produced according to certified biodynamic processes. The grapes are fermented by natural gravity in special cement vats. The 2018 vintage was characterized by a rainy and cool spring and a summer with below-average temperatures. This made this year's harvest a little more difficult. The ripening process of the grapes was slow, but this gave the wine a particularly balanced aroma thanks to an exceptionally complex polyphenol composition.
