Tasting notes : Deep red with violet reflections. On the nose, ripe notes of blueberries and blackberries combined with tobacco, dark chocolate and spices. Nicely concentrated with lush, rounded tannins and expressive notes of black cherry and licorice on the palate. Long and rich finish in which the complexity of the wine shines through. The Nectar Dei 2019 has excellent aging potential.

Serving temperature: 18°C

Aging: 24 months in barrique barrels (30% new) made of the finest French oak, 4 months in a single concrete container, 12 months in the bottle.

Process: The vineyards are located in the Morellino di Scansano DOCG area. The soil is mainly sand, including granite, slate and clay. Fermentation in 5 and 10.5 t stainless steel tanks.
